Anyone who has tried any of my recipes, lunches or dinners know that I can compete with the best of them. I have cooked "for two" for years and I have served 100s, both for dinner parties at my home and for different events that I have catered.
As a self-trained chef, I offer cooking classes, one-on-one demos, food budgeting, canning and pickling, your recipes or mine for you to take home and so much more. I ordered a meal on February 27th. The meal was excellent with generous portions. The delivery to my door worked perfect and I will use this great option to obtain healthy good food after my surgery.
We have been ordering regularly from Rick for a couple of months and are thrilled with the meals and service. Rick is great and very accommodating to diet needs. Ate Brussel Sprouts for the first time in my life last week, and they were fabulous. Wish there were more than five stars.
For the past four years, I have been asked to help raise money for Arc of Indiana through the Indy Cooks event. This is an event where about 70+ celebrity and professional chef donate their time and resources to make a dish for this event. Tickets are sold the ticket holders are able to buy and give "tip tickets". Individuals walk around and taste all the different dishes and vote on the ones they like the most by giving the tip tickets to the chef's tip jar.
In 2013, I made my famous Tomato Basil Hummus. I did not win, so in 2014 and 2016 I bumped it up and made my summer Gazpacho and WON! I was invited back in 2015 and made my sangria – did not win that year, however. The Gazpacho recipe can be found under soups and stews on this website.
I have been featured in three different cookbooks. Indiana Delicious is the newest book. Indiana Delicious offers eaters and chefs from across Indiana. During the course of the summer, many eaters and chefs were contacted to see if there was any interest in them to participate in this book. All the recipes were collected, made and tasted and here is the final result. I have two recipes in this book, but I am among some of the best chefs in Indiana.
