Stuffed Cabbage

Just like a cabbage roll, just a lot less work. Great tasting

Ingredients

One whole medium head of green cabbage

One cup cooked rice

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon parsley

4 teaspoon pressed garlic , two for the meat mixture and two for the sauce

3 teaspoon of salt and pepper half for the meat mixture and have for the sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon vegeta

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 small can tomato paste

1/2 coriander seed crushed

1 1/2 cup hot water

Directions

Step 1: Cut off top of cabbage and hallow out the cabbage to 1 inch from the sides. Save hollowed out cabbage to make a coleslaw or cooked cabbage

Step 2: In a bowl, mix ground beef, rice, parsley, half of the garlic, salt and pepper, paprika Vegta and olive oil. Mix well and take a small amount and cook so you can taste for seasoning and be able to adjust

Step 3: Form the meat mixture into a ball and stuff into hallowed cabbage and top with the top of the cabbage.

Step 4: Mix tomato paste, salt and pepper, garlic coriander seed and hot water to make a sauce. If needed add more hot water. Pour over and around cabbage

Step 5: Cover with parchment paper and then foil and bake at 400 degrees for 90 minutes. Pull out of oven and make sure the cabbage is soft and meat read 150 or more on a thermometer. Let rest covered for 30 minutes covered. Remove parchment and foil and cut small slits down the side to help in serving.
