3-Envelope Roast

Ingredients

Meat: 1 (3-4 lb) beef chuck roast (or pork roast)

Mixes:

1 packet (approx. 0.7-1 oz) dry Italian salad dressing mix

1 packet (approx. 1 oz) dry Ranch dressing mix

1 packet (approx. 1-1.25 oz) dry brown gravy mix

Liquid: 1-2 cups water or beef broth

Optional Veggies: 1-2 lbs baby carrots, 4-8 medium potatoes (quartered), 1 onion (quartered) 

Ingredients

3 pound beef roast such as chuck roast

1 envelope of dry Italian salad dressing mix

1 envelope of dry ranch salad dressing mix

1 envelope of dry brown gravy mix

2 cups water

Directions

Step 1: Put the water in a measuring cup that is larger than the amount of water you are using. Now add and mix all three envelopes to the water. Mix until blended completely.

Step 2: Brown the roast (if desired). Add the meat to your cooker. Pour the water, salad dressing mixture over the roast.

Step 3: In the slow cooker cook it on high for about 4 hours on low about 8 hours.
