1 ½ Tablespoon sugar
4 Tablespoon dried basil
1 16 ounce can tomato paste with Italian Herbs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Onion
4 Tablespoon butter
4 Tablespoon olive oil
3 Cloves garlic pressed
A pinch of red pepper flakes or to taste
2 28 ounce cans of tomatoes mashed
1 cup vodka
Step 1: Brown onion in olive oil and butter in a large pan or pot.
Step 2: Once browned, add garlic and cook for a minute. Add everything else except the cheese.
Step 3: Cook for 30 minutes. Adjust seasonings and add cheese off heat.
