Serves 2
4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
2 Cloves Garlic put through a garlic press
1 Tablespoon grated Ginger
4 Tablespoons Sake
4 Tablespoons Miring
1/3 low sodium Soy Sauce
Fresh Ground Pepper
1/2 Pound Sirloin Steak put in freezer for 15-minutes and cut thin
Garnish with White and Black Toasted Sesame
Serve with Broccoli (steamed) and Jasmine Rice
Step 1: Combine all the marinade ingredients together and add the steaks to the bowl. Leave to marinade for a minimum for 15-minutes or overnight if you have the time.
Step 2: Heat a wok with the vegetable oil and when hot, drain the steak for its marinade and add to the wok.
Step 3: Fry for about 2-minutes tossing around.
Step 4: Pour the rest of the marinade over the steak and cook down until the sauce thickens.
Step 5: Remove the beef from the pan and serve with jasmine rice and tender broccoli. Drizzle over any sauce left over.
