Take your potpie to the next level. So easy to make too!
1/4 cup butter
14 ounce frozen vegetables
1 cup chicken stock
Once small onion chopped
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups cream
2 cups or more of cooked chicken
1 teaspoon thyme
Salt and Pepper or Rick's House Seasoning
Your favorite cornbread recipe and add 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Step 1: Melt butter in a skillet and add onion. Cooked until onion is softened but not brown.
Step 2: Add flour and cook until lightly brown. Add chicken stock and stir. When thickened, add cream.
Step 3: Add frozen vegetable and chicken. Add thyme, salt and pepper or Rick's House Seasoning. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Step 4: Pour into a 9x13 baking dish coated with a cooking spray and top with the Cheddar cheese cornbread mix.
Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until cornbread is brown on top.
