Shredded cabbage mixed with ground beef and other seasoning. This can be baked with or without tomato sauce.
1 pound of lean ground beef
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 onion shredded
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Tomato sauce (optional)
2 teaspoon garlic
1 egg
Step 1: In a bowl, mix everything together until all the shredded cabbage is mixed in
Step 2: Make into 4 small loafs
Step 3: Place in a pan or a pie plate. If using tomato sauce, add the tomato sauce into a bottom of a pan by pouring over the meat mixture
Step 4: Place in a preheated 350-degree oven and bake for 45 minues
Step 5: If you want, mix 2 tablespoons of mayo with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped parsley to taste, and place onto of the meat and continue to bake for 10- more minutes
Step 6: Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or fried cabbage.
